Hillside Enterprises is pleased to announce that portfolio company Agility Robotics, a leader in humanoid robotics and physical AI, has entered into a definitive agreement to become publicly traded through a merger with Churchill Capital Corp XI (NASDAQ: CCXI), valuing the company at approximately $2.5 billion before new transaction proceeds.
The proposed transaction represents a significant milestone for Agility Robotics and reflects the growing commercial momentum behind humanoid robotics as the technology moves from research and development into real-world industrial applications.
Upon completion of the merger, expected in the fourth quarter of 2026, Agility Robotics is anticipated to trade on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol AGLT, subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals and other customary closing conditions.
Bringing Humanoid Robotics into the Workforce
Founded in 2015, Agility Robotics has established itself as a pioneer in developing humanoid robots designed to work alongside people in commercial and industrial environments.
Its flagship robot, Digit, is designed to perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks across logistics, warehousing and manufacturing operations. The company has already demonstrated commercial adoption through deployments with major enterprises, including GXO, Schaeffler and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada.
With more than $300 million in multi-year contracted orders announced in June 2026 and the continued development of its next-generation Digit 5 platform, Agility is positioning itself to help address labour shortages, improve operational efficiency and accelerate the adoption of physical AI.
Supporting the Next Phase of Growth
The proposed transaction is expected to generate more than $620 million in gross proceeds, including approximately $200 million in committed private investment financing.
This capital is intended to support the expansion of commercial deployments, increased production capacity and continued investment in Agility’s robotics technology, software and artificial intelligence capabilities.
The move toward public markets represents an important next step in the company’s evolution, providing a platform to pursue growth as demand for advanced automation continues to develop.

The proposed business combination remains subject to customary closing conditions and approvals. Completion of the transaction and the anticipated public listing are not guaranteed.
